A change-up on a classic cheeseball, full of two blends of cheeses, spices, and coated with a layer of Everything Bagel seasoning. Served with homemade bagel chips!
Ingredients
8ouncescream cheese, softened
4ouncessharp cheddar, grated
3scallions, minced
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoonblack pepper
1teaspoonhot sauce
1teaspoonlemon juice
1teaspoonsoy sauce
¼cupEverything Bagel Season, divided
4Bagels, sliced thin, for serving
Instructions
For bagel chips: preheat oven to 375˚F. Slice bagels thinly and arrange on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Remove and let cool.
For cheese ball, in a medium bowl, mash together cream cheese, cheddar, scallion, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, lemon juice and 1 tablespoon of bagel seasoning. Make sure ingredients are well-mashed and evenly distributed. Shape mixture into a loose ball with a spoon.
Spread out remaining bagel seasoning on a small plate and roll ball around in seasoning, covering it evenly with the seasoning.
Serve cheese ball immediately with bagel chips or wrap tightly in plastic wrap for up to 3 days.
